Careers

Build technology that makes everyday work better

A supportive team for people who want to do meaningful technical work. You will build systems that a school, a factory or a pharmacy actually runs on, and you will meet the people who use them.

Software Engineer

Colombo 06, Sri Lanka · Onsite · 2+ years

Build and maintain the internal systems our clients run their operations on, and the ESKAIY product line. You will work directly with the people who use what you build, not through three layers of account management.

What you would do

  • Build features across the stack on client systems and ESKAIY products
  • Work with the Business Analyst to turn a client workflow into a working screen
  • Write tests, review pull requests, and support what you ship
  • Migrate client data with reconciliation the client can check

What we are looking for

  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript, and one of .NET, Node.js or PHP
  • Relational database design — MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Git, code review and a preference for readable code over clever code
  • Enough networking knowledge to debug across the stack, or the wish to learn it

UI/UX Designer

Colombo 06, Sri Lanka · Onsite · 2+ years

Design the screens people use to do their jobs — HR systems, booking flows, property and pharmacy platforms. This is applied product design for real operational software, not marketing pages.

What you would do

  • Map real user workflows before designing anything
  • Produce wireframes, prototypes and production-ready UI for web and mobile
  • Maintain and extend the design system across the ESKAIY product line
  • Test designs with actual users and revise on what you learn

What we are looking for

  • Figma to a professional standard, including components and variants
  • Interaction design for data-dense internal tools
  • Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA — contrast, focus order, form labelling
  • Comfort working alongside engineers rather than handing over and leaving

How hiring works

Four steps, and we tell you where you stand at each one

  1. Application

Email your CV. You get a reply either way — we do not leave applications unanswered.

  2. Conversation

Thirty minutes with the person you would work for, about what you have built.

  3. Technical discussion

A real problem from our work, discussed together. No whiteboard puzzles.

  4. Offer

Written, with the salary, the role and the reporting line stated plainly.
